Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Collins is an Mexican American Sportscaster. Her current role is an ESPN sportscaster. ESPN and is anchor for SportsCenter news and hosting SportsNation. Her first assignment with ESPN in the year 2016. The daughter of TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta has been bilingual since the age of nine. Her ability was crucial in helping her land her first job as a producer assistant at Univision Miami in which she assisted the production of shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Following this, the CBS station located in St. Petersburg employed her as a sports reporter. In 2009 she moved in Rio Grande Valley to work as a journalist at KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. Reporters covered issues related to the issue of immigration and trafficking drugs in both Texas as well as Mexico. Also, she would fill in on occasion as a weather and sports anchor. Deportes 23 is Univision Dallasthe affiliate of Univision Dallas, and she takes on more responsibility. The couple stayed in Canton Ohio with her older sister in the summertime in which she was offered a job. At the time of her senior year in high school but knowing exactly what she wanted to do for her life, Antonietta visited her local University of Mount Union to examine if it was a good fit for her preferences. It turned out that she loved the campus and that they had the major she was looking for. After graduation, she attended the university as a media studies major. Mark Bergmann was her professor and also the head of WRMU in which she's a part. They had a very close connection. Her professor, Mark Bergmann, inspired her by his love of journalism. Additionally, he profoundly influenced her.
